I'm old enough to remember that chopping down forests used to be considered anathema. In fact, my ninth grade science teacher had us all sponsor a piece of rainforest in sone exotic location because it was wrong to chop it down. Suddenly, parasitic "philanthropist" Bill Gates' money is behind it and it's all OK...

Clearly, the forest alone builds topsoil over time from centuries of decomposing leaf litter to keep the cycle of life going long before humanity ever existed. Then in the last 100 years, human elites swarmed into finding made-up junk science ways to enrich their Wall Street financial returns.

@Paulett37271403 We have a serious housing crisis going on…. And their answer is to cut down and bury trees? Versus making lumber and building homes? Don’t trees breathe in CO2 and make O2? So do any of these folks know weeds, bushes and trees are going to keep growing?
