Burning the Qur'an by Muslims with the intention of insulting the Mushaf (copy of the Qur'an), desecrating it, and lowering its status is a heinous act and might lead the doer to disbelief. As for burning it in the case that it is torn, printed with missing letters, missing parts, or worn out, this is fine because deeds are judged by intentions, and this is something most Muslims know. Now, what is your objection? What is the thing that your single-celled brain failed to comprehend?
