In Florida, this is perfectly legal if you are in your car and surrounded by protesters. This is probably a big reason why we don’t have protesters blocking roadways in Florida anymore. Governor DeSantis signed the bill in April of 2021.

We must tell our government that armed agents shooting people without justification will never be acceptable in a democracy. But this fight is not about fists, weapons, or rage. It is about facts, morality, our voices, and mass, peaceful resistance. Do not turn to violence. Do not turn to destruction. That is what they want. We win by standing together, visibly, peacefully, and relentlessly, until accountability is unavoidable.
