The little girl is getting affected by all their problems 🤦♀️

She has seen her dad for who he truly is.

She just wanted her daddy But it seems the daddy didn't want her that much

That’s what her little ass get🤣🤣🤣🤣

She finally found out the truth

“Your mama, she needs you!” No, she doesn’t 🤦♂️ a child isn’t their parent’s therapist. The emotional health of the parent should never be a burden on the child. It’s a parent’s job to provide stability for the child, not the other way around

I packed a bag when I was 5 and my mom found me walking through the parking lot of our apartment complex. I told her I was walking to California to be with my dad. Divorce is usually terrible for kids.

Unless your parents went through a traumatic divorce, you won’t get this clip. It immediately stops you whenever you get a reminder, forever a memory. My sisters and I were playing in the front yard, we were 7 and 10. This bright red corvette pulls into the driveway. It’s our mom. She goes in, there is yelling, she gets in the car, says nothing to us, begins to pull out, my Daddy came running out the door, running after her as she drove away yelling, “don’t do this Willa I love you!” I watched my Daddy fall to his knees and sob in the street. The red corvette was the man’s she had been cheating on him with for 2 years. My Daddy was a very intelligent, successful, upstanding Christian man who also raised 3 girls like he’s own. Paid for her college, any alteration she wanted, whatever she wanted she got. Seemingly a very happy life for all of us. No one can tell me a thing that will shock me or what users will disregard in relationships. I watched my Daddy fall to his knees in the street and sob.

Y’all.. the father cheated on the mother with her best friend on their living room floor, and the affair was exposed on national tv. This is the movie Hope Floats

That little girl would have been dropped off with her daddy. I would not be taking her talking like that to me every day. She had to learn the hard way her dad didn't want her and she kept disrespecting her mom.

This was the first movie to show me how delusional absentee dads make their kids and how moms really carry it all. I was this delusional about my dad too. Ugh. I love this movie so bad.

I love this is because of Sandra Bullock

Little girl was ACTINGGGGG

The daughter was not okay with her treatment

Heartbreaking? This feels more like a scripted tragedy than real life. People aren’t clones following one timeline, everyone’s story hits different. 💔

Watched this and sat in silence after.

She knew her father doesn't want her. She just made herself believe her father wants her.She was always picking her father's side so her dad wouldn't leave her.She was so mean to her mom because she knew her mother wouldn't leave her

Truly heartbreaking, and the little girl is very smart as well

What is the name of the movie?

Bernice is the most annoying child in any movie. Go with your raggedy daddy. He don’t want you anyway

This scene almost brought me to tears

That young lady was an awesome child actress! She nailed so many films like this as a kid.

She’s affected yet blaming just only her mother….kids are cruel

Mom is grieving and so is daughter. Daughter doesn’t fully comprehend and mom’s tolerance is understandably low. Normal for the girls and fixable. Despicable for the “father” and never will change.

Saying this is sad i just laughed at the little girl when the dad didnt take her lmao

Her mom had to let her learn.

This was a good movie back in the day. Hope Floats.☺️

@grok what's the movie about

Movie name is HOPE FLOATS

As a child of divorce this hit really close to home

What a little shit 😂 so sad this actually exists outside of movies

Yknow what they're ALL pissing me off

Let this little girl calm down

It was truly heartbreaking. Great storyline sha
