It is regrettable that commercial areas entirely encircled by shops anticipate the government to provide complimentary waste collection services. I have consistently emphasized that the private sector should be responsible for waste management in commercial and industrial zones.
Geskiya let's be honest, Kano is not dirtier now under Gov Abba than it was under Gov Ganduje. A lot more needs to be done about waste management in Kano state.
