I don't miss being a child in general, but I do miss the sleepy mornings at home laying in bed before getting up for the day, listening to the birds in the still of the morn. I wish I could live forever in one of those tranquil moments.

mourning dove calls are central to so many of my most formative experiences. i haven't heard one in years and i miss it greatly.

im glad that birds exist and that i can hear their songs, isnt it so cool that there are so many and theyre all so unique? whoever invented birds keep up the good work man

no idea how people manage to mimic these. wierd part is actually recognizing most of these calls. living in florida we hear most of these.

its so easy to think of beautiful animals as being exotic, and living far away... ...but there is SO much beauty in our own backyards, just waiting for us to *look*
