It's too late to save a family member who died last week. But hopefully this (or something else associated as others talk about in comments here) comes soon to save many families from the tragedy we are facing.

He’s part of my clinic. His T cell work isn’t a magic bullet yet but he’s on the right track with this. MBS is always ready to throw money at new non oil tech. The USA used to be like that.

Why can the Saudi´s do it and the US can´t or did not or won´t? Simple--Saudi Arabia leadership does not need big pharma´s donations or kickbacks and they unlike American leadership do care about humans. Were it not for the waste, fraud and misuse of our trillions of dollars of taxes every year and with some miracle of God the DNA of politicians in the US could have a slight alteration to actually care about humans, life and health this kind of advance would be increased to other diseases. A dream I know, perhaps even a fantasy but worth thinking about don´t you think Americans?

Indeed. The telegraph’s impact in the 19th century-instantaneous, long-distance communication-was similarly framed as ‘monumental’. Yet, its societal restructuring proved far more complex than initially forecast. History rarely unfolds as predicted. .

B I N G O ! It’s elementary my friend. Take a human, remove the stress of deception, wise worrying about jobs and stability poor schooling and government overreach, and the body can actually heal itself much better The matter of fact that the try to biopsy a perceived tumor, actually spreads the tumor because the body is encapsulated it to protect @grok can you expand upon my statement in a more full manner? This is really amazing. My father passed away after a 15+ year battle with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, more specifically the rare (1 in a million) Sézary syndrome. It was the constant advancement in CAR-T and other immunotherapies that kept him alive for so long.

So I asked @Grok ... and yes computational biology is cool. But cancer is a family of diseases. - - - - - Patrick Soon-Shiong, a physician, inventor (e.g., of Abraxane), and founder of ImmunityBio, has long emphasized the central role of NK cells (along with T cells) in fighting cancer. He argues that many cancers evade or suppress these "first responder" immune cells, and that boosting them—especially via interleukin-15 (IL-15) pathways—can restore immune function, potentially leading to durable responses or even long-term remission. He views low lymphocyte counts (lymphopenia, including depleted NK and T cells) as a key overlooked factor worsening cancer outcomes, and he promotes therapies that expand/activate these cells without the immune-damaging effects of high-dose chemo/radiation. His key product is ANKTIVA (nogapendekin alfa inbakicept, or N-803), an IL-15 superagonist approved by the FDA in 2024 for BCG-unresponsive non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). It activates and proliferates NK cells, CD8+ T cells, and memory cells, achieving complete responses in some patients with durable effects (e.g., months to years in trials). This is a legitimate advance in immunotherapy for that specific indication, and it's the first FDA-approved IL-15-based agent for expanding killer cells. Soon-Shiong has broader ambitions: He envisions NK/T-cell activation as a paradigm shift toward "Immunotherapy 2.0," potentially applicable across many cancers by addressing lymphopenia, inducing immunogenic cell death, and creating immune memory. He has discussed combinations with engineered NK cells (e.g., PD-L1 t-haNK or CAR-NK approaches), low-dose therapies, and even preventive potential. In interviews and writings, he has used optimistic language about "curing" cancer or making chemo obsolete in some cases, and reports anecdotal or trial successes (e.g., in pancreatic cancer cases or rare lymphomas). However, this does not equate to a universal cancer cure: ANKTIVA's approval is limited to one bladder cancer subtype; broader use (e.g., for solid tumors via expanded access in 2025) is investigational or off-label in many contexts. Some independent sources (e.g., STAT News reports from 2025) have critiqued his claims as overhyped, noting that trial data for other cancers (like advanced lung) did not clearly show survival benefits, and sales/uptake remain modest compared to competitors. Earlier criticisms (e.g., from 2017) highlighted that universal NK-cell claims lacked strong evidence at the time. Cancer is highly heterogeneous; no single approach (including NK-focused immunotherapy) cures all types or stages reliably. Immunotherapies like checkpoint inhibitors or CAR-T have transformed some cancers (e.g., certain leukemias, melanomas), but many patients don't respond, and durable cures remain elusive for most solid tumors. In summary, Soon-Shiong's NK cell advocacy is grounded in real immunology (NK cells are crucial anti-cancer effectors, and IL-15 agents like ANKTIVA represent progress), but it is not correct to call it a cure for cancer overall. It's an promising but still-evolving field with proven wins in niche areas and ongoing research/challenges for wider application. Always consult oncologists for personalized advice—hype from any source (even innovators) should be weighed against rigorous evidence. - - - - - Regards ... @AI_4_Healthcare

We can't have this soon enough. So many of us are dealing with chronic immune issues and autoimmune issues. I would do anything to be part of one of his trials! I know he's focused on the more serious cancer trials right now - but I'd give A LOT to get rid of CFS. So grateful for this guy.

right now, this treatment is available for: Non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) and Metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in Saudi Arabia, only but its pending for 33 other countries. In clinical trials and investigational use (showing promise or ongoing studies for broader application): * Pancreatic cancer (including metastatic/advanced cases, with combinations like PD-L1 t-haNK cells; some encouraging survival data in heavily pretreated patients, but still experimental). * Head and neck cancers (including HPV-associated). * Ovarian cancer (e.g., platinum-resistant high-grade). * Glioblastoma (recurrent/progressive, combined with other agents like bevacizumab). * Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (including indolent types like Waldenström’s, with off-the-shelf CAR-NK therapies + Anktiva). * Other solid tumors (e.g., colorectal, triple-negative breast, Merkel cell, melanoma, renal, gastric, cervical, urothelial beyond bladder; often in "basket" trials for checkpoint-relapsed cases). * Lynch syndrome and advanced/relapsed solid tumors generally. I'm not an expert; I just asked Grok.

There's absolutely no way a cancer cure, or even a significant step forward towards a cure, will ever be released from the mainstream medical community. Not a chance. Zero. If the last 10 years have taught us anything, it is this. Everything to the contrary is just marketing.

In 1975 at University of Virginia it was discovered by accident that cannabis killed brain cancer cells in mice. It did so without destroying the surrounding tissue by causing the cancer cells to essentially starve to death and implode. There was exactly ONE mention of this on TV and never again. There were no *OFFICIAL* US government studies done after this until the process was RE-discovered by Dr. Manuel Guzman at Complutense University in Madrid, Spain, in 2000. AFTER that the dam broke and now there are multiple studies ongoing across the planet. But it was discovered HERE, first. With our taxpayer dollars. And so we had a right to the results. An Apollo Program class effort could have been launched into cures and who knows how many cancer victims may have been saved since 1975. And you think the government can't keep secrets?
