After having been alerted that the deep state is spying on me through mercenary spyware, I've been feeling like there is someone standing in the room with me at all times. Now, I'm not naive: exposing the wicked ways of the establishment is quite literally at the core of my mission and I've faced many difficulties as a result; but it's a really scary feeling to know that people who want to hurt me have been able to look at me and my family, listen to my conversations and go through all of my private data for God knows how long, without me knowing. It's scary on both a personal and societal level, that people like me and therefore indirectly people who share my views, are being spied on as if we're literal terrorists. It confirms what we already knew: the idea of ''The Free West'' is truly an illusion.
