This is neat. Busses in Chongqing started rolling out displays that link up with the traffic lights. If you're stuck behind one, you'll know how long until the light turns green. If there's separate left/right turn lights, it'll show up as additional indicators on the sides.

It'll also help prevent cars following a bus through what ends up being a red light for them. Police in China are flexible, usually canceling red-light camera tickets issued in these scenarios, I wonder if that'll change now for cars following busses w/ these indicators installed

Every time I open this app China has done another incremental improvement edging closer to a tech utopia while the west are fervently throwing words around

I can see the headlines in Western news now "Chinese roads are getting safer and easier to drive on, but there's a reason why this is actually dangerous".

Now that's what I call awesome.

@RnaudBertrand Will it also display “attention, speed check camera 200 meters shead”?

Great idea

Awesome, I'm just imagining all the backend systems behind it, all those syncing..

pretty cool

How is that worth a cent of public investment?

Another amazing innovation out of China . Thank you!!
