At yesterday's presser PM Luxon sent a clear message to his coalition partners ACT and NZ First that he will go to Labour/Greens for support if they do not vote for his new internet laws. He is drafting two bills to cover the same issue. One is a govt bill that will take over if Catherine Wedd's members bill is defeated. This is Mr Luxon showing who he really is. A full fledged left wing globalist shill in the manner of Keir Starmer and Anthony Albanese. Really- who else would seek out the support of the radical leftists that currently inhabit Greens/Labour? We need ACT and NZ First to be completely unequivocal about their rejection of the govt overreach needed to implement Luxon's internet laws. Mr Luxon's professed care for children is just another left wing scam. There are hundreds of means available for parents to control internet use without the need for laws that will negatively impact everyone. The far left imposter Luxon and his backers must be expelled from the National party and his Stasi style attack on the internet must be defeated.

On the 22nd of July 2025, the Tánaiste Simon Harris stated that he wants to see exemptions applied to planning laws for the accommodation of International Protection Applicants, or more accurately, Economic Migrants, phased out – but what laws is he talking about? In this video, I briefly review the 8 number laws passed by the Irish Government over the years 2022, 2023 and 2024, which created a two-tiered housing and planning system, whereby: - Accommodation provided to Ukrainians and those seeking international protection was (and continues to be) all but exempt from planning laws, while - Irish Citizens, building temporary cabins, on their own property, with their own money, are being dragged through the Courts, and ordered to tear down their homes, making them and their families homeless. This is the very definition of a two-tiered housing and planning system, making the Irish People class citizens in the country that their ancestors built and died for.

If Hipkins and Labour return to govt, they look set to take another crack at hate speech laws. Appearing on TVNZ Breakfast this morning, Hipkins was asked about the need for such laws in light of Brian Tamaki’s comments. He replied: “I still think there are legitimate issues here, gaps in the law.” A pretty clear signal they’ll try again — despite their last push drawing around 19,000 submissions, the vast majority opposed on free speech grounds.
