This is NOT a drop... Y'all did the same bullshit to Rome and trashed on him because you were spoiled by his historic rookie season catching 72% of his Contested Catches. When a defender knocks it out like this, it's an unsuccessful contested catch. Colston is 7/13 on CTC... show more

Keep in mind this is the same JB Pritzker who as of this morning, announced a temporary halt on data center development in Illinois. What’s the difference between now and then, JB? Is it because now, we’re six months out from Election Day and your political reputation is on the line? Give me a break. JB didn’t do this out of the kindness of his own heart. He did it for himself – and he’ll sell us out again if we let him. Illinois deserves better.

Not a change, but I've had a TON of folks asking if this is getting changed from June 10. This is a ball hit by Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers and it was ruled an error on Jake Mangum of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The only thing I can think of is that Mookie didn't appeal, because this is a base hit, it's always been a base hit, and it will continue to be a base hit. Except on this one play. There is no way a sliding attempt like this is an error. I know Mangum broke the wrong way, but that doesn't factor it ... it's the catch, the physical catch, and there is ZERO CHANCE this is ordinary effort. I know we talk changes here, but this non-change is the most confounding one for me since Aaron Judge's first career walk-off hit, which was the most obvious fielder's choice of all time, but because it was the last play of the season, it didn't get appealed or changed.

This play may have cost Pickens $10-$15 million a year on his next contract… You simply cannot put this on tape after the season he’s been having… THERE IS ZERO EFFORT TO CATCH THIS BALL… and it land no more than a foot or two from his feet. We’ve seen him make ridiculous catches on awful throws… THEN THIS on a pass that would likely be a TD if he simply reaches out for it! 🤨

This 👇 is why good baseball men consider 1-knee-down catching to be trash. Catcher calls a sweeper. If Keller is going to throw it in the dirt, it will be to the catcher's rigth. Yet, catcher keeps his left knee down, rendering him UNABLE to move to his right and potentially block this ball. So a very blockable ball on a strike 3 leads to a (technical) wild pitch, and a baserunner. It's trash, when it's a blocking situation. And you can't convince me otherwise.

This TikTok is like so funny to me because it was obviously recorded during the filming of season 2 so they’ve just been sitting on this for like over year. They also had to make this little song edit a year in advance and assume it would be a viral sound 😭

People think it's a coincidence Messi has a record of turnovers leading to goals in high-stake matches. No, it's a combination of his poor turnovers and his complete lack of work-rate. Notice how Ronaldo, when he loses the ball in a vital area, harasses the defender and recovers the ball? This is what makes the difference between UCL elimination and a trophy.

Lots of posts critical of Bryan Torres for not catching this ball that broke up Dustin May's no-hitter. Just a 20% catch probability on this 108 MPH liner, and that doesn't consider it's in shadow for most of the flight and then comes into bright sunlight at the end. Decent argument it would have been one of the best catches of the year if he made it. It's just a routine double well past most outfielders and they don't get blamed for not saving a no-hitter.

🚨BREAKING🚨 UFC and PRIDE legend Rampage Jackson built his name as one of the toughest fighters in the world — but now his own son is in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. During a livestream on YouTube, Rampage Jackson’s son Raja viciously attacked an older American soldier, slamming him to the ground and unleashing punches that nearly killed him. Viewers were left in shock as the brutal assault played out live. This wasn’t a fight between two athletes in the octagon. This was a young man using his strength and aggression against a veteran who served our country. It was disgusting, disrespectful, and shameful to watch. The soldier was left unconscious, and many feared for his life right there on the stream. How could someone think this is entertainment? How could anyone excuse this kind of violence? This wasn’t a “show” — it was a crime, plain and simple. No matter who his father is, nobody should get a free pass for nearly killing another person on camera. If anything, being the son of a world-famous fighter makes it worse, because he should know better. Someone needs to step in, take responsibility, and make sure justice is served. This young man deserves to face real consequences — and that means jail time.

Enough people have asked about the Drake Baldwin double off of Bryce Harper's glove in the Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves game. This is 100% ... a double. This is not an error. Again, it is not an error to misjudge a fly ball, and you determine the error here by the mechanics of the catch, and Harper is making a leaping attempt of a ball over his head. You can see that on the screen cap. This is an easy call of a double as a scorer. #RIngTheBell #BravesCountry

This has to be a left shoulder turn into a right hook, or if you're gonna spin back, it has to be a right shoulder left hook. With Jaren Jackson Jr. on him, there is not going to be an opportunity to to just turn and dunk or lay it in. So it's pretty simple to me: Until there is a signal of a post move being developed in these positions, Gobert shouldn't be allowed to duck-in on this big of a defender. JJJ is big and good at defense! If it's someone you can just turn around and dunk on, sure, feed it. But this isn't that -- like very obviously.

This video is not of a 3-ring circus! This is what the activists from the Gaza flotilla are doing on an IDF ship. While they’re already telling the world that they were ‘violently’ arrested by the IDF - you can see here exactly what their arrest looks like and how ‘vulnerable’ they are... By the way, would you expect the operators of a flotilla that is on its way to provide aid to "hungry and poor people who are going through genocide" to behave like this? But this is the truth... It's all a provocation. This is not an aid flotilla, this is a condom flotilla, and the people on it are not human rights activists. They’re paid clowns who are also useful idiots!

The IDF released this strange cockpit video of a pilot over Tehran striking a target. 💥 It seems pointless on viewing, but if you listen to the audio of the pilot (Hebrew), we begin to understand the significance. The pilot assures he has his 'pickle' locked on target and is releasing.. Meaning he is using his internal systems and Heads Up Display to drop JDAM/conventional iron bombs directly over the target/Tehran. Bombs that will glide down to target. That is the standard way fighter bombers drop bombs - however, it is far too dangerous normally to fly over a defended target in this manner and drop bombs. The majority of Israeli & US Strikes over heavily defended areas use standoff weapons - Missiles fired from planes that travel to the target while the Jet is dozens, if not hundreds of miles away from enemy air-to-air defenses, and safe. This is not a video about a pilot dropping a bomb - It's a video of the historic moment the USA & Israel established full air supremacy over Tehran, the capital of Iran. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk! 😅 *edit the video did not embed. I fixed it.

This dude did four incredible things in two seconds. -Did not spill his beer -Made a one hand barehanded catch -Let the baby go and caught it with plenty of time to spare -And give the old geezer behind him a brain aneurysm This is peak athleticism and will never be replicated and he deserves lifetime season tickets

#Patriots QB Drake Maye on if this throw to Kyle Williams is one of his best: "I probably think it's one of the best catches I've seen. I think the catch is better than the throw. I probably made it tougher on him than it needed to be. He beat him off the line. I think the catch is better than the throw there." (Via @WEEIAfternoons)
