I have this terrible feeling that the prosecution and police put together a weak case and use the mildest sections of the IPC to help these goons get away. We saw it in the assault of the man on the train, Delhi riots etc. It’s sad that judges don’t question them!

A sitting member of Congress just said law enforcement “isn’t there to prevent crime.” So according to Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett ‘s logic, cops just wait until a mass shooter is done, then show up to file paperwork… Patrols deter crime. Presence prevents crime. Active shooter response stops crime. Someone this ignorant should not be voting on our country’s laws…

This is new on me. You find someone guilty before charging her/him? What we are saying is that Abubakar Malami should be charged to court if EFCC Nigeria is confident of the allegations against him and let the court decide. What they are doing now is taking it upon themselves to jail him without trial. It's not their place to jail anyone. According to our constitution, it should be our Courts, not the Presidency. That they havent been able to charge him is a clear indication that they are struggling to pin any crime on Abubakar Malami . So we say, #ChargeMalamiOrLetHimGo
