The blue thing in their is a capacitor, stores the energy that’s why then you turn off the lights it glows for a moment afterward, then slowly goes dim. Thats the capacitor bleeds out it’s energy

Actually, that’s just an LED lightbulb. The circuit in the top is designed to take the AC current and turn it to DC at this specific voltage that those LED lights require probably around 12 V. And I can tell you that there wasn’t one transistor in that whole video.😉
