It would be inconceivable for me to tell Melanie what being Jewish actually means, or that Jews shouldn't be alarmed if they were set to become demographic minorities in Israel. Melanie believes Jews are entitled to this in Israel, and that it guarantees their demographic security, but that the same consideration is not given to the British people in Britain.
