This is not music...it's magic! 🪄✨ #U2

Nothing will ever top the Rattle and Hum version

Larry must be the most underrated drummer in music history. He’s essentially playing left-handed on a right-handed kit (hands playing lefty, feet playing righty) just for that song, and likely switches back to orthodox for the next song. 🫠👌

We'll shine like stars in the summer night, we'll shine like stars over winter skies, one heart, one hope, one love ☺️

I’d sooner drink petrol and piss onto a bonfire than listen to that fucker

Can't believe it: Still brings goosebumps and tears to me!

@U2Victoria I still listen to this session so much. Outstanding

@XiakoU2 Their best live performance I’ve ever heard of this classic song!

Bono sounds awful here

I've never understood the hype with this song, and I like a lot of other U2 songs. To me it's predictable, boring and very similar to "Eye in the sky" and "Every breath you take", but those are way better.

Go see them next tour ✌️

Intro itself gives me chills.... Total class👌

Beautiful, a master piece… Thx!

and Joy :)

Wonderful

@schiass2

Oh it's that white Christian Zionist band?

Very nice then too? Great tune from them from 1987 of course indeed? One of their best too? Bono has a great voice also then too?

My favorite U2 song! Love their whole vibe.

Overrated group 🤮🤮

The Edge

While Bono’s voice & The Edge’s chiming, effects-laden guitar get a ton of the spotlight, the band really comes alive through the locked-in groove of Adam Clayton’s bass & Larry Mullen Jr.’s drums. That rhythm section, the engine room making everything else feel massive &urgent.

U✌🏻

100% agree

Best band in the world

1987 Chemistry class. Ellon Academy. Joshua Tree ❤️

U2 blows.

Pure nostalgia!

Absolute legendary Classic!!

Love the song just not this version.

They sucked the life out of music... no band before has been such a disappointment than this one. Maybe Green Day?

YEP!

Most overrated band ever
