UPDATE: With only a few hours left before landfall in Luzon, colossal Typhoon Fung-wong (UwanPH) has hit a new peak intensity. Her sustained winds are now at 130 MPH (210 kph), and the sea-level pressure in her giant eye has fallen to 943 mbar, making her a CATEGORY 4 storm. This will be the strongest Typhoon to hit the Philippines since Man-yi (Pepito) in November of last year, and is coming just 5 days after Kalmaegi (Tino) ravaged Cebu Island.

This storm is going to unleash higher thresholds 3.7 to 8.0 inches of rain as possible but most likely between 3.2 to 6.0 inches looks solid with this heavy rain event is trending aggressively. This robust storm also has a impactful very intense polar jet stream axis of 180 knots. That will slam Los Angeles County directly on Monday 5PM - Tuesday 8PM. That will create potential for strong damaging winds of 60 miles an hour on Monday afternoon to Tuesday morning with possible power outages affecting from San Luis Obispo down to San Diego and urban flooding concerns for much of our region. #CAwx

Multitude, impacts San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties early Thursday morning, bringing heavy rainfall, strong winds, and the potential for widespread flooding and mudslides to all recent burn areas. In 4 days, I’ll walk the London Marathon carrying 20kg, the same weight my son Hugh was in this video . Hugh died of cancer just two weeks after this video, which was his 6th birthday. Here he is blowing out his last ever candle. There should have been many more 💔 20kg is heavy. But not as heavy as watching your child die. Not as heavy as holding them through chemo. Not as heavy as living every day without them. I never imagined this would be my life as a dad. But it is. And now I walk for Hugh and for every family shattered by childhood cancer. Please, if you can, sponsor me. Every step is for him

Organic ecom dudes have no chill. The stuff I’ve seen from them over the past few years is actually mind-blowing. Not only are they selling products that straight-up violate IP (like Star Wars merch)… they’re also using the shadiest angles to promote them. If it’s not cancer bait, it’s OF girls. If it’s not OF girls, it’s elderly people. There’s always some new questionable angle they’re willing to push. And one thing I’m certain of: This isn’t stopping anytime soon. It’s only getting worse especially with AI making everything look more “real” by the day.

Deadlift PR today ☠️ 💪 455 lbs. 1x1 Big day in the gym today! Slow and grindy PR single, after what I thought was a squat PR (it was actually 10 lbs shy). It’s amazing how my mentality shifted as SOON as the bar broke off the floor. “This is so heavy it’s not gonna go” and then activating another part of my brain thinking,“yeah it’s heavy, you’ve been here before, keep pushing, don’t quit!” Heavy deadlift are never easy, but they’re always worth it. This is something truly heartbreaking. Seeing these voiceless animals being forced to pull loads far beyond their capacity, treated with such neglect and cruelty, shakes you from within. In today’s world, where so many alternatives exist, why are these innocent beings still not phased out from such brutal labor? They are made to work in the harshest environments, without rest, without care, without compassion. Just look at this male buffalo, struggling as he pulls wet sand from a canal. Every step he takes is filled with pain and exhaustion, yet he has no choice. No voice to cry for help. No way to escape. We often ignore these sights as “normal,” but this is not normal. This is suffering. This is injustice. My heart goes out to each one of these innocent souls who silently endure so much every single day. They don’t deserve this life of pain. They deserve dignity, kindness, and freedom. It’s time we question this. It’s time we raise our voices. Because if we don’t speak for them, who will? #AnimalCruelty #BeTheirVoice

Normally, I stick to US Weather, but this will be a very impactful Storm for our European Brotheren so I thought it was worth covering. Heads up my European Brotheren
