A bit rough around the edges here, but he really hammered it home with his final point about the US hegemony killing more Muslims than vice versa which led to them cutting the broadcast short 😭😭😭

Interesting. Never knew he was vocal about injustices & won't be swayed/railroaded into toeing the generic line. A rare thing; a high profile American male who's not a warmongerer. Good on him for not condemning entire populations based on the bad behaviour of minority groups 💪

It is indeed refreshing to have another one of the Hollywood "elite" speak the truth. I have travelled in many Muslim countries and the people just want to live and let live and have a decent life with their families. I found almost all to be kind and friendly to the max!

Hes so quick on his feet. Seriously to go toe to toe with these two was not the popular liberal thing to do at the time. He was spot on and this miserable excuse for a host has shown his bigotry since. Repeatedly. Im embarrassed that i was a fan early on. Affleck nailed it.

As a Muslim I feel very happy that a red blooded American defended Muslim on national TV.

I feel like he's definitely overreacting to civil conversation, and if we had all the context the other 2 probably have a point that he's ignoring and getting emotional over and conflating with something worse than it is. Just a thought, usually actors don't have the best takes.
