This is not the first time. It will not be the last time, until the WNBA decides to actually protect its biggest star. Caitlin Clark built this league’s cultural moment. She and the entire league deserve better than this.

Why is the WNBA allowing its most valuable player to be physically attacked? I’ve seen no evidence of any other player being targeted this way. And this was not an isolated event. These incidents are unacceptable, and they’ve been perpetuated by the league’s failure to act. The WNBA must do more to protect Caitlin Clark.

CAITLIN ALWAYS GETS IT “This is the biggest moment the WNBA has ever seen and it’s not something that can be messed up. We’re gonna fight for everything we deserve but at the same time we need to play basketball…that’s how you make the money.”

🚨 CAITLIN CLARK GETS PUMMELED — WNBA DOES NOTHING Dan on Outkick to Laura Ingraham drops truth on the league’s treatment of its biggest star: The WNBA is run by angry African-American lesbians who resent Caitlin Clark, a straight, white, ultra-talented phenom with a boyfriend and massive hype. Jealousy, pettiness, and racial/sexual politics on full display. Hits from behind, cheap shots to the neck/throat/eye, targeting every game. Refs and league ignore it. One-game suspension for a blatant choke? Laughable. “It started the moment Caitlin Clark got into the league… The undercurrent is race and sexism. She’s heterosexual. She’s white. They can’t stand that she has this popularity.” Even Sophie Cunningham calling it out. League refuses to protect the golden goose bringing eyes and money. Front office silent. Protect Caitlin Clark. Stop the cowardice. Talent shouldn’t get punished for winning. The WNBA’s jealousy is killing its own golden moment.

Listen to this WNBA commentator trying to justify Caitlin Clark not being one of the top four guards in that league this year, when she's clearly the best guard in the history of the WNBA! This is not stupidity, it's pure racism!

Things continue to go from bad to worse for the WNBA PR. Caitlin Clark has been box office gold, but now not even she can fill stadiums. The league has completely killed its momentum by neglecting its biggest star.

It is starting to feel like Caitlin Clark is not going to last long in the WNBA. The injuries and wear and tear she has already sustained have visibly affected her, and the Fever and the rest of the league know it.

I’ve played and coached basketball. What’s happening in the WNBA to Caitlin Clark is not normal. The letter I joined with my colleagues to commissioner Cathy Engelbert demands answers for what the league is doing to address this. The WNBA needs to be fair and safe for all its players.

The WNBA spent DECADES struggling for relevance. Then Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham and a new generation of stars brought millions of new eyeballs to the league — and gave it a chance to become a real cultural force. So naturally… the WNBA treats its biggest assets like the enemy. You can’t make this up!

The WNBA has severe CCDS (Caitlin Clark Derangement Syndrome), and it was on full display this weekend. She had two incredible performances this weekend, but from Stephanie White to the entire league, they do backflips to minimize her.

Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham just blew the lid off the WNBA’s blatant black-on-white racism. The league’s targeting its biggest star with cheap shots, ignored fouls, and hostility — and it’s destroying the organization in 2026. No more pretending. Protect the talent or watch it all collapse. #WNBA #CaitlinClark #SophieCunningham #RacismInSports

I deserve this moment cuz I made this happen (alongside Jerry Clark) 😏 Coincidentally this might be the only photo/video proof that I was actually there since I was at the door the entire time before this.

Logo Three: ESPN Just Tried to ERASE the Caitlin Clark Effect — And Got EXPOSED The Caitlin Clark effect just became even more obvious — and she didn’t even play in the WNBA All-Star Game. But ESPN went the extra mile to hide it. And in doing so, they exposed themselves and made the WNBA players look bad in the process. And as you’ll see — this isn’t the first time they’ve done it.
