This is the one case where a 9mm is acceptable: woods ammo; in case you run into a bear, it will penetrate the skull. Most expanding bullets from 9mm won't, and you get eaten. But these seem like thats no problem.

aren't quake makers designed against body armor to make the target stumble. A use case for that is to deny the targets aiming capability. While bigger caliber has this power already built in, 9mm has specialized ammo type for that.

May be a naive question but why would you want a round that penetrates/carries to that extent in a defensive situation? Wouldn’t you want to limit your action to the target and minimize possibility of hitting unintended targets?
