M1 carbine is legit my favorite rifle to shoot. As light and handy as a 10/22 but actually has a little bit of ass behind it.

M1 Carbines are cooler than M1 Garands and nobody can convince me otherwise.

❤...always one of my favorites. Anyways, welcome to the carbine club.👍

Yes.

Our range has a whole fleet of them that we can shoot. It's fun.

Awesome, handy little guns. Expensive to feed. The versions with a giggle switch (M2 Carbine) are super fun.

Something about the action that's just fun to shoot. Half the reason I love the Mini-14. The metallic PAK noise is just top.

Its a fine weapon whose only flaw is the round nosed ammo. Makes range shorter and less AP not that it mattered when the gun was new Most folks don't know there was a .22 Spitfire (5.7 Johnson) variant in the 1960's 40 grains at 3000 FPS. Never popular do to noise and cost.

The M1 carbine is incredibly slept on, its such a fun little rifle

Miss my M1 Carbine, really need to buy another one.

Wildly under-appreciated gun.

Who is the maker? There are some rare ones out there. I own a postal meter manufactured in 1942.

Time to BUBBA

The first gun I ever bought, and still my favorite.

I really need someone to make a frt for it

If you can get them to run they're unbelievably fun guns and honestly 30 carbine is a shockingly decent round

It's the first gun I ever bought, in 1988.

They’re fantastic firearms.

The REAL best weapon out of WW2.

Magazines, especially mags that function worth a dang, are difficult to find.

Maybe I'm just too used to shooting AKs but that ejection looks pretty weak to me.

One of my dream guns, such a neat little thing A compact package™

I need on , high on the very long list

I bought one for my dad for his birthday a few years back. Great gun.

My only gripe about them is how much boomers want for them at gun shows. Luckily my father bought one so it's practically mine!

They are fun and affordable to shoot.

They're a ton of fun until you have to buy 30 carbine. Lever action 357 is also a ton of fun and cheaper to shoot if you get a chance

Based

How many rounds before it jammed?

'not being able to penetrate winter coats' sounds like a joke one grunt makes then it passes around the battalion until it reaches brigade level and the new grunts forget it was a joke.

shoot an M2 if you ever get chance 🦝
