NOW: Large federal & local police presence sweeping through drug-den MacArthur Park in Los Angeles. Unannounced raid targeting drug users in the park where on any given day you can quickly spot fentanyl users, people passed out, the "fentanyl fold." There's been a big focus on this park lately thats become one of the worst areas for brazen and open-air drug use in LA.

Same in the UK, there's money for the homeless but when I go round helping them they tell me there's no support given by these charities. This is the flat I've just renovated to use as emergency shelter for the homeless, it has a crash bed, games lounge, a food kitchen to feed the homeless from and access to rehabilitation if they wish, walk in shower, a place they can come for rest get clean and fresh and warm get fed and feel safe, I have an Amazon wishlist for emergency supplies for the guys all this has been built through support on here, thank you for that 💙

Reminder, if a car has a driver assistance feature or self-driving option, the driver must still pay attention to the road. This vehicle didn’t stop for a school bus despite red lights on & stop sign also with red lights. This driver, who said he was using the feature, was cited.

This is Thursday.. 2:30pm at Circle. It’s the Same distance but Different fare. The “short-short” routine is in full swing. Drivers load from Circle to Old Station, drop, reload to Mile 7, drop, reload again and each stop means another payment. Meanwhile, passengers are stranded, queues growing by the minute, and the cost quietly stacking up. If you don’t own a car, this is your daily reality. You either pay up or stay stuck. For many, this isn’t just a transport issue. It’s a survival issue. And so far, the response hasn’t matched the frustration on the ground. Circle and other stations right now tells a bigger story

This seems like it would be on an episode of “I Shouldn’t Be Alive,” you and your friend go to the mall to get a nice outfit for an outing later. The department you need to go to is on the second floor, so you and your friend decide it would be quicker to go on the escalator. All of a sudden as you are approaching the middle of the escalator, you hear the escalator come to a screeching halt. You and your friend are now stranded in the middle of the escalator. Every second counts, it’s been two hours now since you’ve had food or water since you e been stuck on the escalator and time is ticking, do you risk an escape plan?

🚗 Another Vehicle Dumped on Our Streets Following the successful removal of the Renault truck, we now have another vehicle that appears to have been dumped, this time at the junction of Coleshill Road and Ventnor Avenue. The vehicle is visibly damaged and has been left in a position that is causing an obstruction close to the junction. While England does not yet have the same widespread pavement parking restrictions seen in London or Scotland, parking that causes an obstruction or creates a danger to other road users is a separate matter. As your local councillor, I will be reporting this vehicle to the local police so that appropriate action can be taken. If you are the owner of this vehicle, I strongly urge you to remove it immediately before enforcement action is considered. Our streets are not a dumping ground for abandoned or damaged vehicles. Thank you to the residents who continue to report these issues to me.
