The Morikawa/English pairing was genuinely awful. And sending off Scottie/henley in the wrong order Friday AM. But Keegan is a rookie captain and his stars did not play like stars. Not sure that firing Ryder cup captains every time we lose is a great strategy.

Dan I’d suggest speaking to the EU team. The work started 18 months ago to prepare the team to be the best they can be, take the lessons learned from previous away Ryder Cups and stats to produce the best pairings possible. No detail missed. The US are winging it and it’s showing

Ian Poulter is the ultimate Ryder cup player. Never won a major. But a 15-8-2 record is insane. Especially with an undefeated record in 7 singles matches. But team unity needs to be there. And that’s the difference.

You basically said it after saying Keegan should’ve played. We don’t have that many dawgs. The dogs we have may not have less heart but their size heart may be less. A Stewart Cink or Justin Leonard captaincy would’ve given a few different pics but for some reason I don’t think much of a lineup could’ve beat that group in 2025. I usually try to say we’d of beat them X times out of 10. We’d beat them ZERO times out of 10. We didn’t just need Keegan to suit up & get tagged in. He’s already not gonna like what the history books say. If he was your family member, you’d see you don’t set him up to take the fall that would’ve been his if he failed at both. BUT, then he’d have had more control over the on field performance, b/c the product we put in play… needs much improvement

Ur wrong with a lot of this. Yes, the players are out there doing it but listen to @mcginleygolf on @GolfChannel and you hear what extensive analysis and preparation Team Europe, led by their captain, have done. US picked a guy who couldn't do that cos he's playing every week.
