Check out @BikeSpotProject and tag the streets you think are safe. Or unsafe.

Yes Collins Street isn't fun. I remember knocking this up for fun a few years ago for the top section of Collins. Really no need to have two way traffic up there and I only let one way in to service the hotel.
Why are cars allowed on these streets? Put a ring of parking around the city and remove all car access. People can tram/walk/ride/scooter to work from the car parks.

Have to ride along Collins most days for work. What makes it even more dangerous is the inability to filter to the front in order to turn. You get stuck behind cars and you’re forced to enter traffic in order to go anywhere.

Bike lane design seems to ignore the 1m passing distance laws. On road bike lanes seem to reduce passing distances.

Was thinking this. There really should be a cars can’t overtake cyclist sign.

Chapel Street, in Prahran, is yet another example of inglorious bike infrastructure. VicRoads' preferred design for the bike lanes, which directs cyclists to ride outside the door zone, was wilfully rejected by the Council, with the result that there are countless doorings.

Silver Lining; riding down this street every morning would ensure that I got to work **awake and alert**

I rode on this today, it's the worst. But I did hop off my bike, walk to the intersection and beat 2 lights. Cycling in the city is always faster 😎

It’s a shocker @julianoshea I’ve attended to 2 injured cyclists at that exact spot; one quite seriously hurt. In both cases their pedals were clipped & sent them flying.
