Conor actually did really really well at stuffing the takedowns until he gassed. Also coulda had Khabib’s back there at some point… I bet he regrets not doing that tbh. If he had the BJJ skill he likely woulda had the back or ended up on top there.

This version of Conor was still good, he wasn’t in his prime but he still could be champ at LW, he just met the most difficult opponent ever

Khabib fought a washed Conor who just came back from a boxing fight with Floyd Mayweather and didn't train MMA for over a year. A fit and ready Conor would've schooled Khabib

Split second where he almost had Khabib's back with the arm trapped. Probably wouldn't have been able to finish though but timeline might have been different.
