This is Opobo by the way

Wait why are they singing in Igbo and doing these things?

Same questions I asked

All these things make absolutely no sense. If the leadership of these people do not publicly Affirm their Igboness, it is foolishness on our part as SE Igbos to keep on calling them igbos. If truly they are Igbos, then they should be proud to say it publicly. If they can't, then we should stop calling them Igbos. IGBOS ARE NOT RECRUITING!!!

My village!!. Igbo village

This is Opobo by the way in the flow of their native language and ancestral tongue By the way, I don't need anyone to interpret what they are singing All I need is for someone to tell me the meaning of Opobo in Igbo T for Thanks

Ijaw gods are hearing Igbo now 😂 🤣🤣🤣

Opobo is Igbo. Just ikwere

They are not igbo (political)

Don’t let Edo, Ijaw or Yoruba people see this 😂🤣😂😂

Are they no longer Ijaws

Mumu people! When you ask them now, they will say they are not Igbos

I am still waiting for an Ijaw person to come and interpret those songs to me. 😏 “Afọ agwụla ehh” means what exactly in Ijaw language of the Opobo people? 😁

Wow! See Ijaw people dressed in Ijaw traditional attire, singing in Ijaw language and performing an Ijaw ceremony🙄

No! This is not Opobo! This is somewhere in Antartica! It is only unfortunate that they speak and dance in Igbo language - oh, my bad - not Ijaw! 🤔 Hold on! My bad! It is Opobo - I thought is somewhere in Obigbo or Okujiagu Ama. Opobo is Igbo! 🤧😀

All of us are one igbo

These guys are not igbos. They’re ijos according to them.

Ndi Igbo

They are Igbo in south east… gov fubara have already say it

You say this people are not Igbo

Opobo has nothing to do with Ikwerre. Jaja of Opobo came from Imo as a slave and he paid Andoni to stay in what is called Opobo. He’s not a native. He was a slave that rose in the Pepple family. (A family of natives). Opobo are mostly Igbo slaves who paid for the land they’re in

@MariaFanpage3 If you insist Opobo is not Igbo you’re probably sick in the head.

Growing up in the city of Port Harcourt in those days, the Ogelemkpa & Nwotam display during festive seasons. The beats, rhythm & songs are what you could hardly resist as a lad. With the passage of time, one can only understand - the Opobo have the genetic rhythm of the Igbo!

Obopo speaking or chanting Igbo is not accidental or does it make them Igbos. Many of them have Igbo grand parents who were slaves, who thought them the Igbo ways. Obopo is igbani land and they are ijaw people

They must be singing in Ijaw language instead of Igbo language if Opobo aren't Igbo.

Please can any Igbo person interprete what is being sung🙏?

Please they bot igbo, lets stop courting people who claimed as far as bini

You go think say na spirit the move them, Baba na ogogoro ooh 😮 the move them

Na Bini I dey hear so.

They speak Igbo. All I’ve met communicate in Igbo.

If they claim to be Igbo, great, if not, who cares, we don’t need to beg anyone

Jaja of Opobo, the first Amayanabo of Opobobis said to have been abducted as a slave from Igbo land when he was 12. Opobians used to speak Ibani, same as Bonny, from whence we came. However, overtime, igbo has become the lingua franca.

Lol imagine

No go de pour gods fake alcohol OO 😹

Seems like Ikwerre to me.
