This is my favourite version of my favourite Austen novel. It is so well cast throughout. Beyond the leads I particularly love Fiona Shaw’s part in it.

This is a BEAUTIFUL adaptation. Amanda Root and Ciaran Hinds are WONDERFUL. I like it even better than the 1995 Pride and Prejudice.

Ciaran Hinds will not be surpassed.

In fact is curious, how two adaptations have great things that made a good deal (the cast is great in the Sally Hawking adaptation but the script is kind of messy while this one have a great script and actors but feels quite "small").
