It's not just homelessness but the slavery of addiction. Loss of jobs, homes, families, and purpose. It will take a determination on the part of the individual as well as needed programs to help them with kicking their habits, helping them get jobs & housing. Unfortunately, I don't think many places have these types of multifaceted programs. Even so, many former addicts relapse.
