I live in 🇨🇦BC. This is how it is for pretty much everyone right now. I'm doing okay, but that's because I'm poor & in a 2 bedroom apartment that I converted into a 3 bedroom. If I move out and move back in, my rent doubles. No reno. I'm "lucky" I've lived here for 4 years. In 4 years, this apt doubled in rent. People next door pay double. I can't sink that in enough. If I want one more bedroom and access to a yard (3 bedroom basement suit), it quadruples. If I wanted to rent a home entirely... it's not possible on any working salary. Better to pay a mortgage. My answer. Building over a dozen sources of income, living way below our means, allowing myself to stay lean... occasionally not sleeping. I sit in the sun for an hour when I can, to feel the burn!

This is insane. Sure people have struggled b/4, I know I have But not in the masses & not in the continuum & not like this. #TrudeauNationalDisgrace

This stuff pisses me off so much. Her pain is real. It’s worse than many (right now), but it’s out there. It’s legit. My firm works with working-income people, not the very wealthy, and we see this more and more now.

One of the goals of the Committee of 300 is to completely destroy the middle class.

This is tough to watch because everyone who is in the middle working class keeps the economy going by paying taxes, but are all one paycheck away from bankruptcy. Billions of people world wide who are working in the food & retail supply chains, who are ensuring there is food on the table for the rich & who are donating to charities for the poor are at risk of losing everything. The rich will not have the luxurious life without the middle class who keep the conveyor belts moving in all forms of supply chains. The world is becoming one big tension headache & it is only a matter of time that the working class starts calling for Marie Antoinette's head!

I believe the mythical Middle Class is already extinct. Every time I start one of these conversations, it never concludes with Any proof that I am wrong. That gap between Haves & Have Not has been growing my entire Life! And speeding up now!! 😢

I just got a pretty good raise that equals almost $500 gross a month, I pocket about $170 of that net something is not right about that.
