This Canada is long dead and gone you bozo. I’m an Afghanistan war vet and this pathetic country still doesn’t recognize us 40,000 Afghanistan veterans as actual war vets. The first gulf war guys just got the recognition this year 36 years after their war. Fcuk Canada, pathetic little country that I thoroughly enjoy seeing getting hit by the US administration.

What is real is that Canadians were the only group to meet all objectives on DDay, were feared by the Germans, and were the first choice to lead tactical missions in Afghanistan, as per US Vice Admiral Harward (former K-bar lead). There was a time where I would have kept my mouth shut out of diplomacy and grace for US exceptionalism - we have clearly seen why that was a mistake. Tell the whole history… correctly. For those that fought or had family die supporting the US war. For #Canada to be proud of our own, and their exceptional dedication and service. We aren’t a sidekick for the US to tap in for kicks - we have exceptional people and it’s about time that was acknowledged. As a #Canadian Senator, that is the very least that should be done to honour the sacrifices of #military members and families.

The Canadian Army during WWII was not involved in major land combat until 1942 including the “glorious” defense of Singapore and surrender in FEB 42 and that other famous non victory raid at Dieppe in AUG 42.
