This is really disappointing that Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell are this judgey about people who love going to Disneyland. They must lead really dull lives.

Some of our best friends, and some of the coolest and sweetest and kindest people we know, are obsessed about something and dress up and costumes and love to act silly. Does that make them psychopaths? Absolutely not, it makes them not fucking boring!

Oh but she had a little random anonymous bird tattoo, so that must make her really freaking cool... Can you imagine how boring her house must be? No collectibles...

Isn’t she the same loser who was telling cops “do you know who I am?” when her husband got a DUI??? LOL. Shut up.

I never liked Disneyland even has a child but I don’t judge adults who love to go. I have adults in my family who love to go

One thing we always try never to do is to judge people. We don't know what the hell they've been through or what their lives are like, whatever can bring some happiness to someone and doesn't hurt anyone, go for it! That finger pointing crap is horrible.

We all like diff things & going to diff places. I can see why adults like going to Disneyland. I didn’t like it as a child because I liked going on roller coasters at Magic Mountain or Knotts

It's better than being into Will Ferrell movies.

Really? come now, the majority of celebrities are nothing more than narcissist who pretend to be nice to get to a point where they no longer have to pretend to be nice and can be themselves, which the majority of the time is that they will be assholes.

I know but hence the hypocrisy in what they're saying

I mean, full on Disney Adults are a strange breed. Spending 5 figures for the fam to vacation in Orlando, FL every single yr is weird when there are way better places to see on this planet

Hollywood Horror Museum's profile picture
Hollywood Horror Museum2 months ago

But is it any weirder than horror fans paying hundreds to get a photo or autograph with a person, or a Star Wars adult going to that SW hotel that was open several years ago? I mean if you have the money and interest, or that club 33 that costs thousands

Revenge of Bane's profile picture
Revenge of Bane2 months ago

Like, I love LOVE SNL, but I wouldn’t pay hundreds upon hundreds to get a pic with Eddie Murphy, and he’s my all time fav. Now, I’d pay money to spend a week in studio 8H for a show, so you’re right. All about perspective and what you like. Growing up in Orlando, I couldn’t wait to leave, so it’s weird that people spend what they spend to travel there for long waits, 90 degree heat and 100% humidity, and rides that are mostly meh I agree that if you have the money, go nuts. Don’t let me stop you

I love Disney myself and I see no harm in adults loving something. (Because, god forbid you have some fun in your dreadfull adult life, right?) But some adult Disneyfans are crazy obsessed. Like, borderline psychopath obsessed. They could tone it down, just a smidge. 🤏

Hollywood Horror Museum's profile picture

I mean the same can be said about any obsessed fan, but they're acting like you have a mental disorder if you're a super fan

Leana's profile picture
Leana2 months ago

Yeah, they're taking the judgement a bit to far. But I wasn't talking about superfans, I was talking about wackos that stalk Disney castmembers across the parks because they have "fantasies" about the characters they play. Those absolutely have a mental disorder.

My gf and I use to live one street over in the same neighborhood from “The House that Mickey Built” Walt Disney’s home in Los Feliz. Walt’s great-great grandson is married to my Gf’s friend and he’s been at our place. I told him straight out, Disney adults are the worse!🤣

Unless this is a set up for a film in which they play judgey about Disneyland but are actually Disney adults. Throw in some character development acceptance where they own it--what a shitty clip this is. Shameful.

Hey, I love Disneyland, but the childless obsessed adults with disposable income have become so prevalent that the park is now catering to them and pricing out working families. Walt wanted it to be a family park, not an immature adult park.

I've been seeing a lot of judgement about "disney adults' on social media, LOL. Don't really know where I stand....I grew up on classic Disney and to this day, truly love & appreciate the classic movies, animation, and music. Never been to any of the parks but would like to. Have

I mean if someone is obnoxious and stalky, it's got nothing to do with them being a Disney adult, that's what we find offensive, because they could say the same about any fandom Star Trek Star Wars horror whatever

Victoria Grace's profile picture
Victoria Grace2 months ago

I've seen a LOT more annoying people, usually grown-ass men, who are gamers for example who are obnoxious, stalkerish, mean-spirited. In contrast, a number of the adults on social media who still enjoy Disney tend to be very nice & civil people for the most part.

Hollywood Horror Museum's profile picture

And sports people! I mean jerks are going to be jerks no matter what they like. Typically Disney fans are very gentle and kind of the same with Star Trek

Nah they’re right though. You can love Disney. That part is okay. Especially if you have kids. If that is the center of your life, it’s a disorder 🤣

Individuals who earn their livelihood by portraying fictional characters may generate substantial income; however, such pursuits are inherently disconnected from reality. I contend that adopting a judgmental attitude can hinder a person's creative success.

The @mbamtl did a big exhibition in 2007 around Walt Disney and the artistic influences behind his work and what inspired his teams. They presented exclusive archive content. It was one of their best exhibitions & many adults and kids visited it.
