This afternoon, The King and Queen hosted a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the dedication and contribution of those who serve their communities through volunteering, supporting charitable causes and working for emergency services. In Maine and across the country, many dedicated religious workers have had to leave the communities they serve because of visa backlogs. The Religious Workforce Protection Act I introduced with Senators Tim Kaine and Jim Risch would allow lawfully present religious workers with R-1 visas to remain in the U.S. while awaiting a decision from the Department of Homeland Security on their EB-4 permanent visa applications. If this issue is not addressed, religious organizations in Maine and throughout the U.S. will continue to lose beloved pastors, priests, rabbis, and other religious workers who lead and support their congregations and communities.

Boebert isn't meeting with voters in the district. She's also skipping meetings in DC. I found this out when she posted about fixing the post office in Yuma, Colorado (it was damaged and closed after a gnarly hailstorm). I asked the Colorado Letter Carries about it. Turns out they had a scheduled meeting with her in DC to discuss. BUT SHE DIDN'T SHOW UP! USPS should remain true to its mission as a public service. But it is at risk of being gutted and privatized so a few billionaires can profit. Say Hell NO, stand with letter carriers and postal workers who are so important to our communities, especially in rural Colorado. Two days of actions: March 20 and March 23, locations is the video. This is utterly shocking- in less than four months another white male was witnessed deliberately throwing raw meat at a Gurdwara in West Bromwich(Pork because they thought it was a mosque...Islamophobia is RACISM that effects all communities) THIS is a direct result of politicians like Nigel Farage and the MSM who have normalised hate and racism so much so that Sikh communities are being targeted almost daily.

Every child in our province deserves a life of dignity and that starts with a great public education. I’m proud to stand with our dedicated Educational Support Workers in Fort McMurray. This week I had the privilege to walk the picket lines with them and listen to their stories. These education workers do so much for our children, often dealing with some of our most complex students in our classrooms. The UCP is failing our educators, parents, and children by not paying these workers a fair wage. They deserve better. Alberta deserves better.
