Bro didn’t want no parts of what’s going on!

and in China:

I’ve witnessed that procedure. Stinks like hell. 🫣

but i can't understand only one: how they were alive without humans in the past?

This would be good for people with ibs lol

You need to light it up!!!

That other cow is learning how to be a veterinarian 😆

And bro won't get that smell off his hands for a week.

Works on my mother-in-law too after she’s had too much curry.

This is what happens to cows living under harsh conditions with shitty diet.

Only required when they are made to live in filth. In natural setting they do not require such things.

What causes a cow to have such bad gas problems? Seems like a bad food/conditions issue but I’m no cowboy

That's some serious pressure there!

I've heard that doing that requires a strong stomach to deal with the smell.

A brutal-looking procedure, but it’s actually one of those moments where science literally pulls an animal back from danger in real time 🐄⚕️ What looks shocking is often just fast, precise life-saving intervention.

What makes this procedure quietly extraordinary: it’s one of the oldest interventions in veterinary medicine, and almost nothing about it has changed. Written descriptions of trocarization for cattle bloat date back to the 1700s. The location, the technique, the recovery pattern, are all essentially identical to what you’re watching here. It’s a rare case where the technology, the anatomy, and the physiology line up so cleanly that there’s nothing left to optimise. Most “miraculous” medicine is recent. This one is medieval.

The other cow was just watching, wondering what it could be saying in its mind

Still not as good as my best beer, broccoli, and Popeyes onion ring fart. Just saying.

As a child, I saw such operations with my own eyes. This happens when a cow eats a certain type of grass, because of which it literally swells up and can actually die.

Zie hoe dat kleine koetje achteraan zit te kijken 👀

The cow in the back.

Bro be like :damn! wth did you ate last night.

It is the smelliest of smells

Ruminal trocharization: the ultimate "emergency valve." 🐄💨 When a cow is dangerously bloated, this procedure punctures the rumen to release trapped gas instantly. It’s a high-stakes, life-saving move that can bring an animal back from the brink in mere minutes. Precise, intense, and essential veterinary medicine.

That's me after 6 bottles of soda on a Friday night

That releasing gas must smell terrible!

@eccbiker

They should sell those tubes at Taco Bell

@schwarz

I’ve seen Dr Pol do it a few times. Local at the small incision site. Forcefully insert Trochar, screw in clockwise, remove the plug from the device and let er’ rip.

Stop feeding them grain! They're not designed/evolved to eat it.

The other cow in the corner just looking on... lol. If wtf was a cow..
