This is why I hate adventure, my mind immediately goes to worst case scenario. This is traumatic- what was supposed to be a beautiful, memorable experience, turned into absolute horror. May their souls rest in peace. 🙏🏼😭

I did the hot air balloon with my wife in 2023 in Egypt, it went well. But now that we have a child, I'm not about to do this shit nor more. Too risky. I do picnics and movie nights now.

Why not get out of it while it was on the ground… they had time and it looks like they were having trouble with it then. I can deal with a few broken bones falling out the basket but death by fire while it’s in the air is awful. Lord have mercy on their souls.

A question, the balloon was in flame before flying, then: The people on board could not leave before the balloon flies away?

These kind of things one must have a parachute just like life jackets at sea.

I did this only once w/ a male friend and his buddy. This ride being featured looks over-crowded, poor safety check. But when I took my ride, our operator advised that it will either end one of two ways: your landing will be gentle, without issue or your landing will bounce, the basket will tip over and you'll be dragged on the ground until the basket is stopped. Guess which way our landing went? I won't do this again and just watching this video makes me shudder for these poor individuals to experience such terror with the manner in which they lost their lives.
