This should send chills down your spine to know that in 80s & 90s, the culprit police officers would cut off head of innocent youth to avoid identification of victims and they would cut stomach and intestines to sink bodies. Most of 25,000 people that Shaheed Jaswant Singh Khalra traced were either burnt as unidentified or sank in rivers and canals. And Ravneet Singh Bittu thinks his butcher grandfather was a saint.

As per this former police officer, Kanta was picked up by police, shot, beheaded, his stomach was cut open, and his body was thrown into a river so it would never be found again.
