Data centers capture that heat and turn it back into energy. It is cost effective. Only the ones in California dont capture the heat due to bad policy and the greedy electric infrastructure.

Most large AI data centers being built by AWS, Google, Microsoft, and XAi are being built as liquid cooled, hybrid, or heat capture facilities. Only older data farms are still billowing heat into the microclimate. Fear-mongering has too much currency in today's society...

The need for data centres was not a thing years ago. The need of cloud storage and society constantly connected to the internet would be a good indication why. Bring back dial- up internet connection and watch temps come down. AI isn’t to blame.
