Two Reform UK officials have stepped down, and the party has launched an investigation - after footage was broadcast on this programme indicating that they broke the law on political donations. Undercover filming by Verbatim showed James Orr and Dan Jukes appearing to try to bypass election law barring donations from overseas. The Liberal Democrats and Labour have reported the actions to the police. Mr Jukes said he had been the victim of "entrapment" - while Mr Orr said he would co-operate fully with the party's investigation. Reform have denied wrongdoing.

Channel 4 claimed in the report that Reform took funding from a US firm for three polls it commissioned earlier this year costing £32,500. UK electoral law says foreign companies can not provide donations to political parties. The Liberal Democrats have written to the Metropolitan Police and Electoral Commission.
