total of 17 people died — their lives could have been saved if the ambulance had an oxygen mask. @revanth_anumula just putting a photo on the ambulance is not enough; the inside needs to be properly equipped @asadowaisi @KTRBRS @BRSHarish

After visiting the site of the fire incident at Gulzar Houz near Charminar, AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi said, “Seventeen members of a family, who had been living here for 125 years, lost their lives. Only two family members have survived. I offer my condolences. I was told that most of the deaths were caused by suffocation or fumes, not burn injuries. We should wait for the fire service report to understand what should or shouldn’t have been done. It is a deeply painful incident.”

PC Naresh Kumar (31238) of Langar House PS, who was passing by, promptly administered CPR, reviving him. He then shifted Santosh Rao to Olive Hospital for further treatment.
