After winning the land in a war they didn’t start, Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005. Palestinians determined their government (ie sovereignty) since that unilateral withdrawal. Hamas spent the billions in aid attacking Israel. So a Free Palestine was Gaza from 2005 to Oct 7.
