I actually liked him being straight up bad like this a lot less than him being more controlled and conflicted. But the “I am the villain of the story” line is just good effing tv😭

Not to spoil anyone's fun, but just a reminder this episode is about Lex being split into a Good Lex and an Evil Lex. Love the performance, but this isn't representative of his character in the whole show, even the later years.

He’s better actually

The Luthor aspects of the show are easily its strongest. Clark as a character feels less compelling than he should be. A lot of the time he whines about not wanting to be a hero and I have no patience for that. It felt like the writers took the Luthor stuff more seriously.

Can you believe this guy was playing Lex Luthor and the Flash in two different shows at the same time

This is the moment when you understand how a man with no powers could be Superman’s greatest enemy. Lex isn’t more powerful than him. In some ways he’s not even as intelligent. But he is more ruthless.
