Growing up as a kid one of my favorite movies was Die Hard. Bruce Willis was awesome. Willis, who now is not totally verbal any longer thanks to Dementia at age 68, is supported by an incredible family, who recently released this video of him on his birthday. “He’s not totally verbal; he used to be a voracious reader — he didn’t want anyone to know that — and he’s not reading now. All those language skills are no longer available to him, and yet he’s still Bruce,” said his friend Glenn Gordon Caron. Dementia is a terrible disease which I truly believe will be curable soon thanks to the technological progress we have been making. Having had two grandparents suffer from the disease I can't tell you how heartbreaking it is. I'm glad Willis appears to have incredible family support in his battle.
