My nephew got this bad with his drinking. He died on 1/2/21 at the age of 43. Scott was funny & smart & knew everything about computers. I miss him every day. 💔💔💔

He’s on TikTok. I forgot his name but he actually beat cirrhosis of the liver. He quit drinking, lost his wife to it though. They were well off, lost everything, his business, yacht and unfortunately his wife. He now shares his stories to help others.

Alcoholism is a horrible disease. It is an addiction. Like drugs. Or sugar. I think that people deserve our help, not our vitriol.

Oh God I remember those days. You need it so bad but you can barely choke it down.

My family owned a bar in Greenpoint Brooklyn when I was 15 I would clean the bar every morning my uncle would come in and I would have to line up 6 shots and tie his tie on his wrist and loop it around his neck he would then lift the shot to his mouth holding it with one hand and lifting it with another. Some lessons u learn watching the people u love suffer.

I have no sympathy for alcoholics (that aren’t sober 100%). Sorry not sorry.
