This is so so bad from David Samson not only because it’s just factually wrong and the team has been forthcoming with info on Joe’s rehab for months, but also because it implies the team was doing something nefarious with his addition to the roster. What are we doing here.

@DavidPSamson if you didn't hear anything about it, it means you weren't listening at all. His rehab was all over, and @sdutKevinAcee talked about it a ton. What a poor and dishonest shot at AJ Preller and the Padres. You should apologize, and admit you were wrong.

I get being frustrated. I get missing the days where you could name your team’s starting roster in back to back years because it was the same roster. I get longing for the old school rivalries and matchups mattering because it is local kids on the team staying home playing against those rivals. I get it all. I feel you. I understand you wholeheartedly, but let’s not act like these kids are doing something wrong. We play the game because we love it but also because of the future and opportunities it brings financially and these kids aren’t doing anything but acting in a situation that is brand new !
