@KMAkandoh @DrAmoakohene @NJOAgyemang @JDMahama @komfo_anokye How does an A&E (Accident and Emergency) department close? By definition, it is supposed to operate 24/7. This is a matter of life and death and must be investigated urgently before lives are lost unnecessarily.

@KMAkandoh and @DrAmoakohene an you please look into what’s happening at the KATH please. If what these citizens are saying is true then this is very worrying. Every life matter.

This is not adding up. Wish we could hear the hospital sides of things. If there was a fracture ,at least it must be splinted if no specialist is available. They'd rarely just let you go with a hanging fracture

I had a similar experience at GA East municipal Hospital. We sent an accident victim there around 6pm but he was attended to at around 10:30 a- 11pm and it was just first aid. It was then I understood why people pray so much in this country. ONLY GOD CAN SAVE YOU!!!

I know I’m going to get bashed for this but the right questions need to be asked! What time did he actually get there - I hear both 3pm and 4pm What time did he see a doctor - Was there a queue? What time did he get to the X Ray unit - he can use the receipt generated time. 1/2

As a country we have to really look at how emergency cases are handled at our hospitals at the so-called accident and emergency units. Even if you are just a good Samaritan the procedures there can frustrate you to leave the patient there. I empathize with these guys .

There's a Gross system failure in this country, the doctors are concerned about money and other HCWs feel unconcerned about the patient since the doctors lobbied to do everything for patients

Objectively , there are consistencies in the time of arrival . 3pm or 4pm ? As a new registrants, he will go through the system to get an order for the X Ray and head CT which will lead into the night. Lets be patient with how the health system runs.

The health minister has failed the health sector. Hospitals have been complaining of understaff yet numerous graduands stays home idle while their talents go waste. Ghana need intervention fron God indeed!

I was alarmed when I saw the caption but after listening and reading the comments I’m more alarmed. Basically,a lot of us didn’t even understand what was said in the video but it’s all good all “we” want for the guy is treatment. Not all departments in an ER work 24/7.

Sometimes it's not the emergency that's closed but the scan or a specific department u were referred to.. Bone fracture treatment is different so u have to understand things B4 posting
