The vendor is so unprofessional You use cars to deliver cakes not dispatch bikes They will now put all the blame on the poor dispatcher whereas it was the unintelligent cake vendor’s fault. If I was the customer I will return the cake and ask for a refund.

This dispatch rider is a good person and I am sure he has learnt his lesson.

Cars are better for cake delivery any day and any time . Lesson learnt on both ends. May God punish our politicians for not fixing good roads for small businesses to thrive. Amen 🙏

The fault is from the vendor not you, sending butter icing in a dispatch bike with heat and knowing how the riders ride.

I will speak from my experience as a baker so far. 1. You don’t send cakes with bike knowing how fast riders go and how delicate cake is 2. What i do is send a staff/ use bolt and let the customer know why those are the safest options. 3. As a rider too learn to say NO too

As a rider in Benin city, I can honestly tell you, e nor easy to carry cake because u dare not carry anything else along, na big challenge especially when the person nor pay well And then against, if the ice strong, it will hold

I’m gonna be controversial here, the driver had a poor sense of duty to the baker where he shouldn’t have. The baker should hire her own transport or she should make sure that the cakes are secure. Very bad practice to put that pressure on gig economy drivers.

Happened to me last august But I was lucky,I was the one who rode a bike to pick up my cake so I suffered and it paid off cause my cake was still active 😂

If you check now this boy went to school and finished Nysc and is jobless and driving bike. Nigeria is a very difficult nation

As a baker, you don't send cakes using dispatch. Book bolt car and not ride.

I think the fault was from the baker not the dispatcher because how on earth would that cake fell out like that when he dispatcher didn't tumble on the road? The baker must have done some mistakes on the cake before packaging. What saved him was documentation?

After our first experience one faithful morning on Valentine’s Day, my wife NEVER delivers cake with bike again. Always with air conditioned car now, and it has to be on the floor, not on the seat. Them no dey teach person lesson twice.

You can't understand this situation unless you find yourself dear. I dey even panic on behalf of the guy. The insult, disgrace, accusations and making it compulsory for him to pay for it...

As someone who baked for years and experienced this level of pain with dispatch riders, I don’t want to blame the rider alone but 80% of these riders are selfish.. carry excess load and speed off with a cake someone dedicated thier time to crafting.. it is painful walai..
