This woman treks to over 400 houses in her neighborhood every year to place a Memorial Flag in everyone’s yard. Out in the heat, overheated, she never skips a beat and it all comes out of her own pocket. Even though people decorate themselves, to wake up every Memorial Day morning and see a flag placed by every mailbox is beautiful. She could be doing this as just a kind gesture. But, what are the chances she does this because she lost someone she loved dearly who served and this is her way of showing up and honoring their memory? Does your neighborhood do this?
