This is such a good exchange between Shane Ryan and Jon Rahm. Rahm is so thoughtful and smart, and his premise that you should be satisfied with past decisions based on the information you had at the time is 100 percent correct. He also seems just kinda ... stuck now.

Rory McIlroy thinks Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton should pay $6 million in DP World Tour fines to play in the next Ryder Cup. One of the biggest stories in golf right now is what will happen to Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton’s DP World Tour fines and will they maintain Ryder Cup eligibility for Adare Manor in 2027. As it stands, both Jon and Tyrrell, among other LIV players, have appealed their fines putting them in “stay” with no current information on when their appeal will be heard. Speaking ahead of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, Rory McIlroy thinks Jon and Tyrrell should just pay those fines and “prove” their commitment to the Ryder Cup: “Yeah, absolutely. Main thing is -- look, this is my opinion. We went really hard on the Americans about being paid to play the Ryder Cup, and we also said that we would pay to play in Ryder Cups. There's two guys that can prove it. Great. I think that's -- yeah.” This is a very interesting comment. What Rory McIlroy is suggesting here is that Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton pay $6 million each out of their own pockets to play in the same type of events that Rory gets enormous appearance fees for “supporting”. It’s also worth noting that Rory also plays the majority of his golf on a competitor to the DP World Tour and he doesn’t get fined for doing so. What do you think about this? Are the fines justified and should Jon and Tyrrell pay them?

All I’ve noticed so far is that she goes back and forth between inadvertently outing her source as a he and then trying at times to cover his gender by saying he or she. Kinda dumb for information that’s “so dangerous.”
