There is profound hypocrisy in the viral allegations of animal abuse against Hasan Piker. It sadly DOES appear at 0:12 of this clip that he uses a shock collar to punish his dog Kaya for disrupting his stream. That's wrong. However, Hasan has also acknowledged that "vegans' arguments are correct" and has called his position on veganism his "most sus" belief. (He eats meat.) Billions of animals are shocked to death every year in slaughterhouses. The ones that miss the electrocution tank (because they raise their heads after being hooked upside down on the slaughter line) are often drowned to death in scalding hot water. So let's get that shock collar off Kaya. But let's also address the far greater abuse that's occurring in meat production. After all, if it's wrong to briefly shock one animal -- which it is -- it's absolutely monstrous to electrocute and scald to death billions.

This video is exactly the reason why you spoke out of turn Philo of Michigandria. This guy is an arrogant child who refuses to accept any correction. He is now twisting his own words to avoid admitting that he was wrong. His claim now is that he was only referring to Luke's Gospel and only to well known writers. He wasn't making a general claim that a fifteenth century Protestant was the first one to hold this view and response in general. The original video that I attached demonstrates exactly the opposite. He explicitly says that this response does not predate the fifteenth century.

Bruiser has forgiven me!! I was able to get the collar off, take off the nametag that jingled, and put the collar back on. He has decided that petting is worth the hassle. Now he has an AirTag on him so I can find him if the fireworks this week have him bolting somewhere. Don’t worry. It’s a breakaway collar and it’s on loosely. I can easily get three fingers under it. I’d rather lose the collar than have it get caught on something and hurt him.
