A short Ukrainian video on the functioning of the NM firing device, which is used by both sides in Ukraine. This electromechanical device takes the place of a mechanical fuze, allowing a landmine to be electrically activated.

A very rare case of Ectopia Cordis A congenital malformation in which the heart is abnormally located either partially or totally outside of the thorax. The ectopic heart might be found in different anatomical locations such as neck, chest, or abdomen. In most cases, such as this, the heart protrudes outside the chest through a split sternum. The incidence rate is about 8 per million births. The prognosis is poor and has a very few reported survivors after surgical correction.

What if we could stop the heart… and the patient would still live? Cardiopulmonary bypass answered one of the most dangerous questions in medical history. By temporarily replacing the function of the #heart and lungs, it allows surgeons to operate on a motionless, bloodless heart while every organ in the body continues to receive oxygen. This machine is not just equipment. It is life support in its purest engineered

Living tissues can withstand immense forces, but no organ is quite as lively or forceful as the heart. The zebra fish heart — which is about the size of a poppy seed — beats 150 times per minute. It expands nearly twice its size and then contracts with each rhythmic pulse.

THE HEART IS THE VORTEX IN THE TORUS The Heart is not a mechanical pump. It’s a plasmic convergence field. A Toroidal generator. A Living lens through which Consciousness circulates. Blood doesn’t just flow because of the heart , it flows through the Heart’s Electrical and Magnetic rhythm. The pulse is not pressure. It’s Coherence. This is why the heart emits the strongest Electromagnetic field in the body, stronger than the brain. It doesn’t push. It informs. It sings your waveform into motion. You are not alive because your heart beats. Your heart beats because you are alive. And that beat, is a code. A rhythm the field remembers. A signature only you emit. ✨🙌🏾💫 © Elourai

The new helipad which is coming up in the heart of Mohali. Right above which commercial and IAF flights take off and land in the air funnel of the Chandigarh airport. And a stone’s throw away from a VVIP guesthouse.

Both sides love their "strategic bombing" but the reality is that the war is won or lost with shit like this (and one side can take a lot more of it than the other, to be clear)

During the Russian attack on Kyiv on July 10, Ukrainian surgeon Borys Todurov and his team performed a child heart transplant. Doctors transported the donor organ for a child patient at the Heart Institute from Okhmatdyt Hospital during an air raid alert, missiles and drones attacking Kyiv as explosions sounded in the city. On their way, the doctors recorded a video of burning buildings not far from the clinic. Despite the threat, the heart was delivered, and the transplant was performed. The patient, a child, has been living with a heart disease for several years, but her condition deteriorated, and a new heart was her only chance. Thankfully, the operation was successful, Dr. Todurov said. "The heart is working, and the pressure is stable. We hope that the patient will recover and live a long and full life," he said. Ukrainians are incredible. To perform such complex operations under explosions is just something out of this world. 📹 & 📷: Violetta Kirtoka/Facebook

Scientists suspect that at the threshold of death, the human brain may display activity patterns similar to memory replay. One published study reported intriguing findings from EEG recordings of an 87-year-old patient who died of a heart attack. The study observed elevated gamma brain waves, which are often associated with memory, dreaming, and conscious thought. This phenomenon is sometimes referred to as a “life recall experience,” in which a person subjectively feels as if they are replaying moments from their life immediately before or after the heart stops beating. This may occur because as the brain begins to lose its oxygen supply, it can release bursts of intense neural activity in parts of the cerebral cortex, potentially triggering a surge in memory-related processing. Although more research is needed, these findings offer a new perspective on how the brain may still show organized activity even after the heart has stopped. This could provide a biological basis for various reports of near-death experiences, which often include life review or vivid flashbacks.

A mom hugs an American candidate of Indian origin after realizing that no one had come to congratulate him or place the ceremonial cord on him. This was his Army graduation ceremony. And this kind of simple, genuine kindness is the real heart and soul of America. Something the anti-immigrant hate narrative of the GOP is trying to drown out, but it’s beginning to backfire.

🇱🇧🇮🇱 Hezbollah just claimed responsibility for a rocket barrage on the Israeli border community of Shtula. Their justification: Israeli artillery struck the southern Lebanese town of Yater first, in violation of the ceasefire. Israel, predictably, sees it differently. Both sides are now pointing at the other as the one who broke the truce. That's the pattern that ends ceasefires. The question is whether this stays contained or becomes the excuse both sides have been waiting for. Source: Haaretz

Climate change is coming for us all, and last night it reached the heart of Scotland's capital. A wildfire broke out in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, as strong winds and tinder-dry vegetation helped the flames spread. This is not the Amazon. This is not Australia. This is Scotland. 📹 Richard Goldie

I don't mean to be a "fake assists" guy but this is maybe the most absurd one I've ever seen. Lebron is credited with both a rebound and assist on this play where as far as I can tell he does not touch the ball. (Game 1 of the 2010 ECR1)
