This isn't that impressive, honestly. People already are talking about the latency, but all it would have to do is take a screenshot of your webcam, then do object recognition on what you're holding, which is years old.

The real test for these is interruptions: cut it off mid-sentence and see whether it actually stops and changes course or just finishes its script. Turn-taking is where most video agents still feel uncanny. How'd it do?

The model is made to breath little heavy. Wonder what other expression exaggerations are being done to make the model look authentic. It’s similar to AI images hype in the early days.
