This is the best open source text-to-speech I’ve ever heard. It’s free and you can run it locally. It’s also unrestricted as you can give it any voice sample. In this video I have it speak as Peter Griffin, Trump, Jarvis, & Scarjo’s voice from HER. More in thread 👇

You can easily install this via Pinokio by @cocktailpeanut. I made a modification to the @Gradio UI to allow audio clips to be saved into a drop down list. I’m happy to share if people are interested.

@Gradio It’s called E2-F5-TTS. you can test it hugging face with short outputs. But running it local via Pinokio, it’s unlimited.

@Gradio Subscribers Alert!! I’ve shared my favorite voices, from the above video (plus others), to my Subs page.

Dude it’s crazy good!

Yeah, it really is. And I love that the outputs vary each time you run it.

No one in the English speaking world pronounces the 'B' in 'dumber.'

Haha! I almost changed it to “dummer”. I heard that too. 🤣

Seriously it's blowing my mind! Tbh it's the first open source audio generator I've played with that didn't just give incoherent screams and weird nightmare sounds

The Trump one is wrong though... there are too many words and sentences 🤣🤣

Wow this sounds awesome. Looking at Github issues many people are looking for more languages. If someone ever adds French, let me know ! I thought about training it myself but it seems not documented yet...
